About us
Rooted in faith. Refreshed in community.
Shamar Mums brings mothers together to hear God's Word, pray and encourage one another — so every mum can find renewed strength for everyday life.
“Gather the people to me, and I will let them hear My words, that they may learn to fear Me all the days they live on earth, and that they may teach their children.”
Deuteronomy 4:10 — our foundation
Our mission
To gather and support mothers through God's Word, prayer, friendship and rest — helping them grow in faith, find renewed strength and nurture their families with love.
Our vision
Mothers rooted in faith, supported in community and refreshed for everyday life — with the next generation growing in the knowledge and love of God.
Who we are
Supporting mums as whole people.
Shamar Mums is a Bible-based community bringing mothers together to hear God's Word, pray and encourage one another. Our foundation is Deuteronomy 4:10 — God's invitation to gather, listen, learn to honour Him and teach the next generation.
We believe mothers need places where they can be supported as whole people: in their faith, friendships and everyday lives. Through Sunday Bible study and prayer, and opportunities to step away and be refreshed, we make room for honest conversation, meaningful connection and renewed strength.
Our heart is to help mums receive care as well as give it — so that every mother knows she doesn't have to carry everything alone, and can return to family life encouraged and equipped to offer loving care.
We're openly Christian and grounded in the Bible, and we warmly welcome mums from all backgrounds, ages and family circumstances — wherever you are on your journey of faith.
